While investigating the issues related to Kevin Williams's Medicaid appeal (http://www.ccdconline.org/case/1592), the State Medicaid eligibity technician informed Mr. Williams she couldn't determine his 1619(b) status. Under 1619(b), no recipient gets a notice of eligibility. After the Department and Mr. Williams began researching the issue further, the SSA informed Mr. Williams that his SSI eligibility had been terminated in 2004 or 2005.
