We wanted to let you know that our own Legislative Intern, Dana Niemela, will be running in the Colfax Half Marathon on May 15th to support Denver Options’ Operation TBI Freedom Program.

Operation TBI Freedom helps soldiers and veterans with traumatic brain injury (TBI) by connecting them to resources in their community, navigating social security and VA benefits, and getting them the technologies and therapies that help combat the effects of a TBI. All proceeds raised by running in the marathon will benefit this program.
